For more than 30 years, mountain biking has been one of my greatest teachers. It has shown me how to slow down, trust myself, navigate uncertainty, and return to the present moment—even when life feels overwhelming.
I created these one-on-one experiences because I believe the trail offers something that is hard to find anywhere else. As we ride together, the constant mental chatter begins to quiet. The focus shifts from everything waiting for you at home or work to the simple rhythm of your breath, your body, and the trail ahead. As your guide, we’ll weave together mindful riding, nervous system regulation, movement, nature, and meaningful conversation to help you reconnect with yourself while doing something that makes you feel strong, alive, and capable.
Whether you’re navigating a life transition, feeling disconnected from yourself, rebuilding confidence, or simply craving space to breathe, this experience meets you exactly where you are. No therapy office. No pressure. Just movement, nature, and honest conversation.
This isn’t coaching while riding.
It isn’t a mountain bike lesson.
It isn’t therapy. It’s a guided mindfulness experience rooted in decades of experience as both a psychotherapist and mountain biker.
The trail becomes the classroom.
The bike becomes a tool for awareness.
The pauses become opportunities to notice your body, mind, and nervous system. It’s an opportunity to reconnect with yourself in a way that feels natural, grounded, and deeply restorative.
Every ride is different because every person is different. Sessions may include:
Mindfulness practices before we ride
Intentional riding with moments of reflection
Breathwork and nervous system regulation
Learning to notice fear without letting it drive
Building confidence through challenge and somatic awareness
Time to simply ride and enjoy being outside
There is no agenda beyond helping you reconnect with yourself.
You don’t have to be an expert rider. You simply need to be comfortable riding beginner or intermediate mountain bike trails. The goal isn’t riding harder. The goal is noticing more.
